Ninety seconds. The buyer's side.
Video placeholder — 60–90s explainer
Sellers see how well their home matches your wishlist.
When a seller searches Pick a Buyer, they see every buyer currently looking in their area — ranked 0–100 against their home, weighted by what each buyer said matters most.
Add your wishlist — suburbs, beds and baths, the features that matter (yard, pool, solar, walking distance to a station, whatever it is) — and tag each one must-have, important, or nice-to-have.
When a seller's home matches what you said you want, they see a score. So do you, if they reach out.
100 is perfect. Above 80 is a real conversation. Below that, it's a stretch — and you'll see that in the breakdown before you spend a second of your time on it.

Asking price never shared — only whether it's in range of your budget.
You don't filter listings. The platform filters sellers.
Your name and contact stay yours.
Sellers can't see who you are. Not your first name. Not your email. Not your phone. Not until you choose to reply.
When you add a wishlist, sellers can find you — but only in the way you've allowed. They see your match score against their home, whether your budget is in range, your timeframe, and the features you've tagged. They don't see your actual budget figures, your name, your contact details, or anything else you haven't deliberately shared.
If a seller messages you, you see their property — full address, photos, match breakdown. You don't see their asking price — only whether it's in range of your budget. Neither side ever sees the other's actual figures.
If it's not for you, do nothing. The seller never learns who you were.
If it is, reply. That's your first reveal — first names exchange. Everything else stays yours, on your timeline, when it makes sense.
Before you reply
What sellers see
- Your match score against their home
- Whether your budget is in range
- Your timeframe and intent
- The features you tagged
Your name, email, phone — never.
After you reply
What sellers see
- Your first name
- Conversation continues in the app
- Everything else — only what you choose to share
You decide who sees you, and when.
A conveyancer of your choice handles the contract.
When you and a seller agree on terms, the legal work goes to a conveyancer or solicitor — yours, or one we can point you to in your area.
The platform packages the agreed terms — price, deposit, settlement date, conditions — and hands them off to the conveyancer you nominate. From there, they review the contract, manage the path to settlement, and handle the parts of the transaction where you need a professional.
If you don't already have a conveyancer, we can suggest ones working in your area. We don't recommend a single firm. You choose.
You agree the terms. A conveyancer turns them into a contract. We stay out of the way.
From sign up to settlement, here's what happens.
Six steps. None of them cost a thing.
Add your wishlist
Tell us what you want. Suburbs, beds and baths, the features that matter to you — and tag each one must-have, important, or nice-to-have.
Add your budget and your timeframe. Whether you're pre-approved, subject to sale, an investor, or just researching — say so. That's what helps sellers know whether a conversation is worth either of you starting.
Five minutes to set up. Free.
Stay invisible while you wait
You're done. Now sellers do the work.
When a seller searches Pick a Buyer, you appear in their match results — ranked against their home, with whether your budget is in range, your timeframe, and the features you've tagged visible. Your actual budget figures, your name, and your contact details are not.
You can update your wishlist any time. You can pause it any time. None of it costs anything.
Reply when you choose to
When a seller messages you, you see their property — full address, photos, match breakdown against your wishlist. You don't see their asking price — only whether it's in range of your budget. Neither side ever sees the other's actual figures.
If it's not for you, do nothing. The seller never learns who you were.
If it is, reply. That's your first reveal — first names exchange. Everything else stays yours until you choose to share more.
Arrange a viewing
Direct with the seller, at a time that suits you both. One at a time, or with a partner. A private viewing — not an open-home queue.
Send a structured offer
When you're ready, send the seller an offer — price, deposit, settlement date, conditions, anything you'd like to make conditional. They can accept, reject, or counter on any term. Pick a Buyer logs every change so both of you always know what's on the table.
All negotiation happens in the app — at your pace. No standing on a doorstep being asked to commit. No phone-tag with an agent.
These offers are negotiation tools, not legally binding contracts. The contract comes next.
Hand off to your conveyancer
When you and the seller agree, Pick a Buyer packages the agreed terms — every field, with the full audit trail — and sends them to the conveyancer or solicitor you nominate. From there, they handle the transaction through to settlement.
Free, always.
You don't pay us. You don't pay an agent through us. You don't pay anyone, ever, for using Pick a Buyer as a buyer.
Not a free tier. Not a free trial. Free forever — full stop.
The only people who can contact you through Pick a Buyer are sellers whose homes match what you said you want, and only if you decide to reply. That's the entire access surface.
We don't run ads against your wishlist. We don't sell your data. We don't pass your details to anyone — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to partner platforms. Sellers pay us $25 a month when they reach out. That is the entire business model.
You can keep doing all of this. Pick a Buyer doesn't replace any of it:
- Browsing realestate.com.au, Domain, or any other listings site
- Driving past for-sale signs in your suburbs
- Going to open homes for properties you’ve found yourself
- Anything else you’re already doing to find a place
We're a separate channel. We add to your search; we don't replace it.
Free for life. Use it alongside whatever you're already doing.
You won't get lost.
We can't advise. We can guide.
Conversations
When you reply to a seller, you're messaging them directly. No agent in between, no message delay. Both names stay first-name-only until either of you chooses to share more.
If a conversation isn't going anywhere, leave it. Once you leave, the seller can't contact you again — through Pick a Buyer or otherwise. They never had your details to begin with.
Viewings
When you and a seller are ready to meet, you arrange the time and place between you. We don't book viewings for you — that's your call — but the platform tracks what's been arranged so neither side loses the thread.
Offers and counters
When you send an offer, the platform shows you every field — price, deposit, settlement date, conditions, special clauses — and explains what each one means in plain English. When the seller counters, you see exactly what changed and what didn't. Every version is logged.
Handoff to your conveyancer
When you and the seller agree, Pick a Buyer packages the agreed terms — every field, with the full audit trail — and sends them to the conveyancer or solicitor you nominate. The platform shows you when the handoff happens; from there, you talk to your conveyancer about the contract.
The platform tells you what's next. Your conveyancer turns it into a contract. You make the decisions.
